The Weishaupt WKmono-series burners (up to 58,000 MBTU/h)
The WKmono-series burners are Weishaupt's most powerful monobloc burners. They were designed especially for hard industrial use, with capacities of up to 58,000 MBTU/h. Desptite their enormous capacity range, the cleverly designed WKmono-series gas, oil, and dual-fuel burners don't actually take up that much space.
Despite its relatively compact design, with a length of just 64-1/8" (1630 mm), the capacity range of the WKmono-series burners extends from 4,100 MBTU/h all the way up to 58,000 MBTU/h. Many elements – the mixing assemblies, for example – are drawn from the tried-and-tested range of WK-series duobloc burners and are pefectly matched to one another.
Digital combustion management, which is included in the WKmono range of burners as standard, provides for the economical regulation of gas and oil and simplifies the operation and maintenance of the burner. Commissioning takes place step-by-step following a user-friendly menu. Digital combustion management also offers the possibility of communication with various monitoring and control systems, up to and including integration into complete building management systems.
All components are readily accessible, so servicing is an uncomplicated affair. The Mixing assembly can be moved into a servicing position within the burner housing. Furthermore, mixing assemblies up to 27.5" (700 mm) overall length can be withdrawn and removed through the burner housing.
Suitable for natural gas, propane, #2 oil and #2 oil up to B10.

Weishaupt's patented multiflam® technology enables large combustion plant to meet very low emission limits. Key to the system is a special Mixing assembly that establishes an internal flue gas recirculation. This cools the flame and reduces the formation of nitrogen oxides. The NOx levels that can be achieved are comparable to those of compact burners. The various Weishaupt burners that are available in multiflam® execution cover a range of capacities extending from 340 MBTU/h to 78,500 MBTU/h.
Weishaupt's 4LN-version burners meet the world's most stringent Emissions limits. A 4LN-version burner is equipped with a flue gas recirculation system that has its control components integrated into the burner. Gaseous Fuels contain almost no sulphur, and so their flue gases mostly comprise Carbon dioxide (CO2), steam (H2O), and nitrogen (N2). This is beneficial to the flue gas recirculation, since there is no ash or soot to contaminate the system. Special adaptations of the Mixing assembly together with the W-FM200 digital Combustion manager ensure a high degree of flame stability and reliable operational behaviour.
