National Sales Manager for Machinery

This is a high level position in which the candidate will focus on setting the future for manufacturing division. He is responsible to manage both the business and production sides of the division. He will develop short term and long term plans, analyze market sales data, designs a suitable marketing strategy for our markets. He will integrate management inputs to establish the strategic direction of products in terms of profit, sales, market share, growth, and desired product positioning within the market. The candidate must be commercially driven while at the same time have a hands-on approach to management of the plant operations-to be able to analyze and improve the plant manufacturing processes, efficiency, and optimisation.


  • Together with management, decides where the company is going in the future with regards to the manufacturing division
  • Collaborate with the directors to develop the policies and management systems to be implement, and control the execution of programs and strategies defined in the marketing plans
  • Forecasts sales, assess, aligns, and monitors implementation marketing programs to improve product performance in the market based on set objectives and targets
  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure full communication and success of marketing plans. Oversee other executives within the manufacturing division
  • Oversees implementation of marketing programs to effectively impart knowledge and disseminate information about the products
  • Facilitates negotiations with major customers
  • Lead and restructure the production team to improve the overall productivity and quality, cost controlling, and production system



  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent. A Master’s Degree Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing is preferable
  • Required Skills: Sales, Business Development, Strategy, Analytical Skills, Market Research, and Business Planning
  • Requires language(s): English
  • Must have a very strong experience in the machinery industry. At least 15 year(s) of working experience in the Industrial Manufacturing field is required for this position. 10 of which must be in Manufacturing Senior Manager
  • Preferably CEO/GM/Director/Senior Manager specialized in Marketing/Business Development of Industrial products or equivalent
  • Experienced in change management and turn around underperforming business
